Master's Club

This is a discipleship and training program intended to help first through sixth graders become skilled students and communicators of the Bible, and faithful servants in their church. Exciting games, competitions and awards keep the learning fun, and the truths of God’s Word memorable.

Sunday School & Kids’ Church

We offer age-graded Bible classes on Sunday mornings, and “Church for Kids” (preschool - 3rd graders) during the AM Worship Service.

Fellowship and Connections

Our fellowship building is dedicated to Jimmy Storm (see his story), and is used for church and youth fellowships, ISI Knife-making Class, and community outreach events.

Merrill Evangelistic Team

Teen Discipleship

We have a unique youth ministry that emphasizes moral excellence and Christian service. Our teens are encouraged to serve alongside adults in church ministries like bus outreach, choir, ushering, Kids’ Church, Community outreaches and service projects, etc. Our goal is not to entertain, but to train teens for a productive life of service to Christ, and a close personal walk with Him.

Community Assistance

As needs arise, our teens and adults help build a better community and testimony for Christ by assisting those around us. We have sent numerous work teams and provided hundreds of man-hours following hurricanes and tornadoes in Mississippi, Alabama, Georgia and Florida. We also assist many in our local community with food, clothing, shelter, counseling and other needs.

Bus Ministry

Adults and children ride our bus and van to church each week. We have seen many lives and entire families transformed by God’s power through this ministry.

Vacation Bible School

Each summer we seek to reach new children and families in our neighborhood with the Gospel of Christ. Our whole church family rallies together to make this a highlight of our year.

Adult Bible Studies

Join us each Sunday morning at 9:45 for a less formal Bible study time.

Music, Choir and Chimes Ministries

Faith Bible Institute

Faith Bible Institute is a Bible college course for every Christian. We study chronologically through the entire Bible, and systematically through every major doctrine. Classes meet once each week.

Correspondence Bible Study Course

Discover “everything a Christian ought to know, from A to Z” with our twenty-six self-paced Bible study lessons.

Iron Sharpeneth Iron

Enjoy making your own custom knife from scratch while we encourage one another in our walk with Christ. As “iron sharpeneth iron, so a man sharpeneth the countenance of his friend.” (Proverbs 27:17)

Cave Evangelism

The ultimate “small group fellowships” for the more adventurous, led by Pastor Paul deep underground in little-known natural caverns in our tri-state area.

Home School Support Group

Several families at Faith Independent Baptist Church have undertaken the responsibility to educate their own children. We offer an accountability umbrella to our church families, and have several experienced homeschooling parents in our church who love to assist those just starting out or entering new levels.
